Arlington Hall just feels SO luxury. The Hillside Estate

Every time I drive up to The Hillside Estate, I think of the Love Story music video. Out of all the venues in Dallas, this one is my absolute favorite!! It’s pure fairytale vibes – think castle-like architecture, a gorgeous stone exterior, and a fountain out front that sets the tone before you even step inside. There are two getting-ready suites, each with its own personality – one with leather finishes and a pool table, the other full of natural light and a feminine feel, with plenty of space for hair and makeup. My personal favorite spot in the whole venue is the marble hallway lined with windows that flood the space with natural light – portraits here are STUNNING.

In Texas, having a gorgeous indoor option is a big deal, and Hillside’s indoor chapel is every bit as stunning as its outdoor ceremony site (if not more!). With high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and big windows, it’s bright, elegant, and designed with wedding photography in mind. Between the all-white details, endless natural light, and how thoughtfully the entire space was built, The Hillside Estate is my absolute favorite venue to photograph!!

The Emerson is one of my favorite spots for more intimate weddings! Some venues can feel too big when you have a smaller guest list, but here the spaces feel perfectly sized and inviting. The getting-ready suites are in separate buildings (so convenient!), and one even has a mini putting green out back for the wedding party to enjoy. The little white chapel is beautiful and unique, and the bright reception space is filled with natural light thanks to its gorgeous windows. One of my favorite details is the vintage roadside marquee sign out front that the owners change for each wedding to display the couple’s new name – such a fun and personal photo op! I love Firefly Gardens so much – I’m actually a preferred vendor here and have photographed over ten weddings at this venue in the last three years! My favorite thing about it is the diversity of photo locations all across the property. Thanks to the all white interior and the gorgeous windows throughout, the indoor ceremony option is honestly just as stunning as the outdoor one! The Springs at Rockwall Manor has so many stunning spots for photos all across the property! Of course, portraits in front of the mansion are a must, but I also love the big white balcony at the front that fills with natural light – it’s perfect for first looks with parents or bridesmaids. The outdoor ceremony space glows at sunset under the awning, and the grand staircase inside makes the most elegant entrance into the reception. It’s such a versatile, romantic venue that feels gorgeous in every season!
