Just like Taylor, you’ll be buying a special dress for a very special purpose at this downtown Dallas wedding venue! Arlington Hall is the perfect choice if you’ve been dreaming of a chic, timeless venue to go with your wedding gown. Its classic pillars provide a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony itself, and the reception can either be hosted inside the hall’s beautiful walls or within a beautiful acrylic tent on the property.

The ultimate fairytale vibes – feel like Romeo and Juliet in your own love story at Hillside Estate! From the elegant exterior to the pristine indoor chapel and open courtyard, everything about this venue will make you feel right at home as the royalty of the day. My favorite part is all the natural light throughout the entire venue, it has more than most wedding venues in Dallas!

When you visit the French Farmhouse you’ll be taken by the view – like you were in Paris, instead of at a wedding venue in Dallas TX! The little blue accents perfectly complement a variety of wedding color schemes, and the property currently boasts 4(!) ceremony sites, three of which are indoors. And honestly, every single one of those options is incredible! You and your guests will feel transported straight into the French countryside at this elegant venue.

I chose Maroon for the Nest at Ruth Farms in honor of the absolutely spectacular sunset colors that often grace the property and provide the perfect backdrop for cocktail hour! The rolling hills and beautiful white exterior allow the entire venue to have a graceful, elegant and intimate feel.
Everyyyyone will remember you here, standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe😘 This Tuscan-inspired venue features high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and a truly epic golden hour! The expansive patio, two distinct ballrooms that have the capacity for up to 350 guests, and onsite chapel help make the entire wedding day an absolute fairytale.
Turn moments into memories –
What if I told you your entire day would flow smoothly and that none of it, would be accidental because the first time that the team at the Emerson saw you they would know exactly how to serve you? The staff at the Emerson are truly masterminds, which makes it one of the best wedding venues in Dallas! They know their space inside and out, and are always present and helpful throughout the day to ensure everything meets your vision. And of course, both their chapel and reception spaces are absolutely gorgeous!
Next chapter, best chapter at The Rosemary Venue! The beautiful white venue features an abundance of natural light and a clean slate for your wedding vision and with a capacity for up to 250 guests. I also love that their 12 hour rental on the weekends allows the entire day to take place onsite, from getting ready to the exit. Plus, they offer onsite lodging for up to 18 guests!
If you’re ready to stay out too late and shake it off – the Pearl at Sabine Creek is ready to host the party of your lifetime! Their clean, white chapel lets in incredible light for your ceremony and portraits in a climate controlled environment perfect for Texas summers, and their main hall boasts a grand staircase that makes for a truly epic reception entrance!
Your wedding, your story, our journey.
All the windows at this stunning venue will ensure you and your guests are dancing under starlight during your reception, even while indoors! There are so many incredible “photo ready” spots all across the property that ensure gorgeous photos year round and regardless of the weather. The main reception hall is stunning, but so is the bridal cottage, suite, and ceremony space. I love its modern vibes!
There’s no need to dance in the rain in your best dress (unless you want to, of course!) at Ashton Gardens, because you’ll have access to their stunning indoor chapel. The best photo spots on the property are so easy to access from the chapel doors, and the tall vaulted ceilings of the reception space allow the entire day to be gorgeous and picturesque.
Brighton Abbey darling, I fancy you! Experience alllll the London vibes at this clean, stunning abbey in the heart of Dallas. Its European-influence brings together a timeless fusion of nature and architecture to create an unforgettable space for a fairytale wedding day. If you’re a Bridgerton fan, I promise you’ll be as obsessed as I am with the soaring chandeliers, picturesque balconies and the stunning event lawn!
If you feel like “tossing pennies in the pool” on your big day, choose the Nasher Sculpture Gardens. It’s famous for its stunning water features! Imagine your open-air reception surrounded by works by Picasso, Calder, Serra, Hepworth and Moore. The venue can host up to 300 guests for a standing reception, or up to 200 guests indoors at Nasher Hall.
Make every moment count, one photograph at a time.
The Dallas Arboretum fits the vibe of Delicate in my book due to its elegant, natural feel and the attention to fine details sprinkled throughout the entire grounds. There are almost too many ceremony and reception location options to list! But the view of Lake Dallas from Alex Camp House is one I particularly recommend! (A mansion with a view, anyone?😉)
A King of My Heart venue screams royalty, and so does the Olana! If you’re searching for a luxury wedding venue in Dallas that looks like it could easily be in Europe instead of Texas, you’ve found it here. From the stunning exterior to the beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, plus the bridal suite AND indoor pool – every inch of the property is breathtaking!
The Olana Dallas Wedding Starting Cost: $14,000

The Texas Discover Gardens are simply gorgeous, inside and out! The gardens are always kept in pristine condition year round, and there are multiple ceremonies locations throughout the property. During cocktail hour, guests can even visit the butterfly house featuring free-flying tropical butterflies!
If you could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at… well somebody… Knotting Hill Place would be it! Castle is really the perfect word to describe these beautifully landscaped grounds. The gardens out back make for a stunning outdoor ceremony space, and the ballroom inside has a gorgeous balcony for couples to pose/and or kiss on before making their full reception entrance.
Just you, your love and your photographer third wheel 😉
He (or she!)’s the one you’re walking to… down either of the Grand Ivory’s beautiful ceremony aisles! There’s actually two stunning ceremony locations on this property, one covered and one uncovered. Both are equally gorgeous – and don’t even get me started on their convenient bridal and groom’s suites, all just an easy walk from the main reception hall!
If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married at the mansion featured in the Blank Space music video – the Rosewood Mansion is a pretty close match!! Picture beautiful columns, balconies, a beautiful sun-lit reception foyer and a classic European-style ballroom. Some people aren’t even aware Rosewood Mansion is a Dallas TX wedding venue since the hotel itself is so popular as well. Guests can stay onsite and enjoy luxuries such as the restaurant on the terrace, poolside service, and easy access to the ceremony and reception in the heart of downtown Dallas!
Timeless love, captured authentically.
D’vine Grace Vineyard is NOT a Christmas tree farm, but when I think about the line “where people would come to dance under sparkling lights”, I immediately picture their courtyard! In addition to their beautiful outdoor ceremony area and European inspired ballroom, D’vine Grace also features a courtyard that becomes totally magical after dark, draped with string lights!
Throw it back to the days when you were “16, lost in a film scene waving homecoming queens, marching band playing” by tying the knot at the Schoolhouse Venue! This adorable and historic venue is a renovation of, you guessed it, an old schoolhouse. After it’s restoration in 2019, the venue now features vintage details and intriguing architecture, plus tons of natural lighting thanks to the abundance of white, clean walls. This historic landmark is one of my top picks for a venue and experience that is truly unique!
Say “I do” to real moments and romantic memories.
The view of the Dallas skyline from the penthouse suite at The Joule will have you feeling like you’ve been transported to New York in no time! I’m a sucker for rooftop wedding venues in Dallas and this one features unique, modern decor throughout the property and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces.
Except you WON’T leave your spouse at this hotel bar😉 The Adolphus Hotel can host up to 400 of your guests, depending on the venue location! This Dallas hotel wedding venue’s ballroom feature barrel-vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, 10-foot windows and more. The entire hotel’s decor was inspired by a combination of a German castle and an English manor, and the results are spectacular!
Dance the night away like you’re 22 at the Hotel Crescent! Or potentially even multiple nights, since you’ll also have the option to host your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding brunch at this luxury hotel and spa. The whole property exudes elegance and romance in an urban setting, and their courtyard garden is one of my favorite ceremonies spots in the city!
Unscripted moments only happen once!
“He wanted a bride….” and you were happy to oblige! The Milestone Mansion in Denton is one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues in Dallas for its beautiful exterior and overall elegance. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by a grand staircase – followed by a ballroom large enough for 200 guests to join in on the festivities. With a spacious bridal suite and both an indoor and outdoor ceremony plan, wedding days here are relaxed and easy!
The Milestone Mansion Wedding Starting Cost: $13,000

The country romance of You Belong with Me reminds me of the southern elegance of the mansion at Rockwall Manor! I adore the stately white columns, gorgeous front porch, and the circular drive with a fountain focal point. The ballroom inside hosts up to 320 guests, with a magnificent grand staircase, and a striking brick fireplace.
The Springs Rockwall Manor Starting Cost: $3,300

Dallas can be one of the best areas to get married if the couple has family from out of state because of its proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Couples can choose from venues in the area built specifically to host weddings, historical sites such as museums, or you can have a wedding in a Texas State Park.
October is the month most brides get married in Dallas! The weather has typically just started to cool off from the summer heat, and the trees change colors and provide a beautiful backdrop for ceremonies and portraits.
Each county in Texas has slightly different procedures to secure the marriage license, but all require a form of valid ID documenting age. If you’re curious how long before your wedding you should get your marriage license in Texas, plan to go at least 72 hours in advance and up to 90 days beforehand.
It’s my hope that this post has helped you find your perfect venue, made you smile a little, and has gotten at least a few Taylor Swift songs stuck in your head!!
