Dallas Mansion Wedding Venue | Jamie and Ben

I help madly-in-love couples stay fully present without worry, creating fairytale, romantic photographs and a genuine, relaxed environment on their wedding day!

Dallas Mansion Wedding Venue

I recently heard a quote that I found incredibly accurate – that “It is more important to click with people, than it is to click the shutter.” Jamie and Ben are a really great example of this, since I wasn’t actually the first photographer they hired for their Dallas Mansion wedding venue!

After working with a different photographer for their engagement session, Jamie and Ben reached out to me and expressed that they hadn’t felt a connection with their photographer during their session. The discomfort of the experience led to photographs that didn’t feel like “them”, and they wanted to change it up before the big day! I’m so grateful for their trust in me, and the opportunity to play a small part in their story.

Mansion Wedding Photos

When designing the details for their Dallas Mansion wedding venue, Jamie’s main inspiration was old world, vintage vibes mixed with a modern twist, to incorporate Ben’s style as well! With the help of Aubrey from Artisan Rose Event Co, the result was a beautiful combination of vintage and modern styling. Of course, this contrast was even further reflected in the difference between the decor styles for the ceremony and the reception!

Jamie’s gown from A&BÉ Bridal Shop was absolutely perfect for her!

Jones Beauty and Co. nailed those gorgeous Hollywood curls that are a trending bridal style right now!

The candlelit ceremony featured stunning floral displays by Olive Grove Design, including a statement arrangement that covered the entire fireplace! The ceremony featured a beautiful mix of bright, white blooms and greenery. In contrast, the reception had an inspired collection of maroon black details.

One of the main reasons I love wedding mansions in Dallas is the opportunity for floral installations like the one above!

Butterfly Cakery outdid themselves!

I LOVE these little menu cards by Hazelwood Paper Co.!

It’s always so much fun to work with an incredible vendor team! The videographers for the day were Christopher and Olivia from North Mark Films. They were AWESOME, and I highly recommend them!

There is nothinggggg quite like a live band for your reception – and Intensity Bands was absolutely AMAZING. The dance floor stayed packed all night!

If you’re searching for a photographer to click with – reach out! I’m so excited to get to know you🥰
