I am a Texas fine art wedding photographer, based in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I believe in light, timeless, romantic photos that are as artistic and unique as the love the two of you share together.

I'M KARINA

2021 wedding season is HERE – and this Burnet TX wedding was the perfect beginning to an amazing year! The highlights of Emmy and Carlo’s big day included a beautiful view, gorgeous sunset portraits and a One Direction screaming match during the reception. So you know it was an amazing day!!

This was my first wedding using my blush linen details mat from Olive and Oak Mat! I am in LOVE! It was the perfect backdrop for Emmy’s beautiful little details… I love adding bridal details to my couple’s album, because these are the types of small things that you’ll forget about 50 years down the line – unless you have shots like these to remember them by!

Maybe it’s cheesy… But if Emmy has a daughter one day who wants to have a bouquet that matches her mom’s, I hope she’ll show the florist this photo!

Peep the fuzzy socks… I love fuzzy socks! One of the best parts of winter IMO.

Carlos had a velvet tie, which I thought was super cool! Also I’m always so happy when the suits for the wedding stray from basic black. Grey and navy always look so nice!

The STUNNING view you were promised!

These florals were by Foxglove & Grace, and they were beautiful! You can never go wrong with arch florals🙌🏻

During the ceremony, one of the cats who lives onsite at the venue made it’s surprise appearance! Our little furry guest was absolutely adorable!

While these photos look warm and sunny, I want to be the one to inform you that it was in fact 39 degrees… and that the ladies you see above are total troopers! No jackets or anything!

I feel like the opportunity to take your bride and groom portraits with buffalos is something that would only happen in Texas. But I’m so glad it did, because look how cool!!

There was also A SWING, so I couldn’t resist having Carlos give Emmy a few pushes! They are such a fun-loving couple that an activity like this was just up their alley!

I’d like to give a shoutout to these amazing oak trees for making this smooch on the swing extra EPIC… I mean this needs to go on their wall somewhere!

Remember how I said it was really freaking cold?? Let me set the scene… It’s almost freezing out, the sun is going down, and all that stands between you and the elements are some pretty bits of sparkly tool. Translation: Emmy was really freaking brave!! My fingers were so numb at this point that it was a struggle to even operate my camera, so I can only imagine how Emmy felt. It’s lucky she had Carlos there to do his best to keep her warm with snuggles 😉

Every couple who gets married at Wagon Springs Ranch has the opportunity to brand the initials of their names together on this board! It’s such a cool tradition for the venue!

Okay THIS. All I can say for my future weddings is that if at some point during the night two people don’t get on the dance floor and literally scream the lyrics to a One Direction song while circling each other with guests and family surrounding them, I’ll be disappointed. These two had an act that just can’t be followed!!

In conclusion, this was such an incredible and fun day!! Emmy and Carlos were totally worth almost getting hypothermia for. If you’re looking for a photographer who will brave the elements and the buffalos to get you the most amazing photos of your big day, I want to meet you!!
